			discount-age has been set up by a group of friends and relations who are 60-ish and excel in the art of finding a better deal. We’re energetic, have loads of experience, and we know how to find, negotiate and deliver great discounts on a whole range of goods and services. But instead of keeping these discounts all to ourselves, we want to share them with other 60 pluses who – like us – want to get the most out of life on a fixed income. Sometimes over-60s get a raw deal, are patronised in the media, dismissed as the ‘grey army’. What they don’t say is that the over-60s are a big and growing consumer group. Companies want, and need, our business! As discount-age gains critical mass, we aim to put pressure on all sorts of organisations to get even better deals – and treatment – for the over 60s.
